Mischief Managed is a Trio Era Harry Potter roleplay. We are currently set in September of 2000, two years after the Great Wizarding War at Hogwarts. We accept original as well as canon characters, and are AU and member-driven. We are looking for members who are excited to plot with everyone! We’re friendly and active, but we are also no-pressure because we understand that real life comes first and is more important than constant posting (though we do appreciate it if you let us know before becoming inactive for a while!).
We hope you’ll enjoy your stay and if you have any questions feel free to let us know in the cbox or in our guest friendly Question/Suggestion board!
The British and Irish Quidditch League Headquarters is a division part of the Department of Magical Games and Sports on Level 7 of the Ministry of Magic. The British and Irish Quidditch League falls under the authority of the division. In 1995, the division seemed untidy and laid back, with posters of the favourite Quidditch teams of employees displayed on the wall. The division was probably founded around 1674, as that was the year the League was founded.
The Ludicrous Patents Office was a division of the Department of Magical Games and Sports. It was located on level seven of the Ministry of Magic headquarters. It presumably dealt with the licencing of "ludicrous" patents, though the exact meaning of this is unclear.
The Official Gobstones Club is a division of the Department of Magical Games and Sports. It is presumed that it is the official club of Gobstones, a game that wizards and witches play. It is also assumed that it has its own tournament, and the employees of this office prepare and plan tournaments. It is also known that Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry had a Gobstones club, which might have been run by the official one. Eileen Prince is the only known Captain of the Hogwarts Gobstones club.
The Department of Magical Games and Sports is a department of the Ministry of Magic. It is charged with the regulation of all sport-related events in the Wizarding world.
This department was formed in response to the signing of the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy in 1692, when each individual Ministry became responsible for the consequences of all magical sports played within their countries. The current affairs of the department have to do with such sport-related pastimes as organising the Quidditch World Cup and the Triwizard Tournament. It is located on the seventh level of the Ministry of Magic.
