Mischief Managed is a Trio Era Harry Potter roleplay. We are currently set in September of 1999, two years after the Great Wizarding War at Hogwarts. We accept original as well as canon characters, and are AU and member-driven. We are looking for members who are excited to plot with everyone! We’re friendly and active, but we are also no-pressure because we understand that real life comes first and is more important than constant posting (though we do appreciate it if you let us know before becoming inactive for a while!).
We hope you’ll enjoy your stay and if you have any questions feel free to let us know in the cbox or in our guest friendly Question/Suggestion board!
A betting shop is an organisation that takes bets at odds on various things, generally sporting events. One was located on Knockturn Alley, and presumably dealt in bets for Quidditch or some other wizarding sport.
Borgin and Burkes is a shop located at 13B, Knockturn Alley, owned by Mr. Borgin and Mr. Burke. It sells objects of Dark magic and other dangerous magical artefacts, including the Hand of Glory, an assortment of human bones, a pack of bloody cards, a glass eye, spiked instruments, a hangman's rope, a cursed necklace, and an array of leering masks that line the walls.
Owned by Vjeko Kostelac, this nightclub is the go-to place for all young and trendy wizards. The whole place has a gothic vibe surrounding it but any creature of the night is welcomed to join and listen to the DJ or the best bands in the wizarding world.
To some people, the shop’s name makes no sense, but it does to the White family. Its front isn’t that big, mostly having a few shelves showing off only very little artifacts mostly because their business is about finding things, whatever it is, things that wizards might want. Of course, everything comes with a price, but they are particularly good finders at whatever objects might pique your interests. They have no particular affiliations but not a lot of people like to venture there afraid of the price they might have to pay in regard to what they are looking for.
