Lizzie honestly couldn’t say she cared much about the rumours but if she had to deal with him who was constantly the target of rumours, it might be a problem so to speak. She didn’t say that to him out of malice, she didn’t need to know, but he needed to know what was being said. She felt like she had to be careful to a certain extent here as well. It didn’t seem as bad as the time she had in Hogwarts but only time would tell for sure. Who knows where it would lead? She would rather focus on her work instead of dealing with this nonsense. What she liked about here however was that she could fully show how cerebral she could be compared to back then at school. She was willing to break an image she originally had even though they might not have known about her old self unless there were other interns that were out of Hogwarts at the same time as she did. “I have better things to do than that.” She said to him. She didn’t want to waste her time on trivial things such as these. She doubted that she would have long discussions with him after hours, he seemed too kind for that. She already spotted a few other people she could chat with if she ever needed it.
“That is perfect for me, I wouldn’t want anything different for now, it will give me time to think about the right treatment.” She assured him. Not that she would take ages to make up her mind. She preferred those kinds of emergencies even though she could react well if there was anything that needed her assistance fast. She still had a lot to learn and she knew it, they were starting to meet with patients now, and she was curious to see what she would have to go through this time.
