Samuel’s patronus is a tortoise. The tortoise is known for its curiosity and its constant seeking of something. It is also a mysterious creature hiding its secrets in plain sight yet people can’t easily read them. As a man who hides many things inside of him and constantly looks for the truth and the right thing to do, this animal is perfect for him. He first heard of the spell at Hogwarts, in his last year. Misinterpreting its utility, Samuel believed that a spell that was made of the purest form of joy you could create might be just the kind of thing to chase away the negative aspects surrounding him, and mostly his mother. He knew it was for dementors and the woman had none around her. But she acted almost as if. He trained to create one. His memory is that of a Christmas when his father was still alive and his mother was still happy. He remember being anxious about opening his gifts. His mother opened hers before. It was a necklace. He cannot fully remember what kind but it was more the look on his parents’ face as they kissed later on that generated the happy thought. Back then, he didn’t think much of it but since it was the last jolly Christmas they had, it almost brings tears to his eyes every time he thinks of it now. The patronus had no shape then but through work he managed to create a shield he told his mother would protect her. It took many more practices for him to generate the shape of a tortoise.

Cameron's is a Siberian flying squirrel for a number of reasons. First off his natural charm which shows in how attractive (yet adorable) these creatures are. Second would be his own deep seated desires for secrecy and stealth with his own natural talents (leading to why he worked on this animagus form not in class and in advance reading up on all the advice about it so he could get it unregistered - - much like the Marauders) which shows in both the little information known about this species and their ability to move through the tree tops without descending to the ground. Cameron goes to great pains to hide his own abilities at dueling and such, to keep up that false front to fool others. He also prefers being active at night and sleeping late (not that school gives him that opportunity during the week) much like these delightful creatures. Also while he is no vegetarian, he does see much sense in stashing food in his room and locker for later times at night and in the evenings and like the squirrel 'bolts' stuff away.
And his ego considers himself to be unique it is fitting this creature is rare to find and only in very limited areas though it is suited for many areas of the world.

Nate’s patronus is a spider monkey. The creature fits his personality perfectly as monkeys are both considered to be intelligent and close to human as they are known for being facetious, an aspect everyone can see in Nate the moment you meet with him. He had this duality of being both bright and funny. It is also a very active and curious animal, much like Nate. Not to add that it is, if you ask the man, the cutest monkey around, and he sure believes he is pretty god looking himself.
To channel a patronus, Nate uses the memory of a Christmas day. There was actually nothing specific to it but it was the very last Christmas he spent with his mother as the woman’s cancer came back not that long after. For this only, Nate cherishes this moment as the reminder of what a happy family looks like.
He learned the Patronus spell rather late in his life, during his training as a ministry official. It isn’t a spell very important to him in his line of work but when he started, he was not sure if he didn’t want to go to another department eventually and so figured learning this could be of use to him. Not to add that he loves the shape it takes and play with it, despite the amount of effort it requires to cast the spell.

Vincent Silver-Moon's patronus was a tough struggle. During the summer after his 14th year his mother worked with him as she did every summer with all her kids to get them as on top of things as possible. His was particularly difficult but he was also quite determined. About halfway through his fifteenth year he realized his goal and his first manifestation in class was quite startling as he got a creature now extinct; an English Wolf! Once the biggest carnivore in Great Britain, Vin's was so large it was registered (to his pride and swelled ego) as the eighth biggest patronus on record (not that any student remembers or that he gets anything but a memory from it). His family celebrated with him in spirit for the winning through of a tough task (and no wonder since it was extinct).
However it came through, it fits Vincent very well. While certainly a sort of predator himself, he watches over his family carefully guiding his younger sibs through life and giving them as many advantages and lessons in life as he can. Anyone who becomes part of his family is part of his pack and therefore under his protection. The idea of anyone he cares for in this way being hurt during his watch has been a fear of his for some time. Patient, careful, and dangerous, Vincent Silver-Moon is very much like an English wolf.
