Mischief Managed is a Trio Era Harry Potter roleplay. We are currently set in September of 1999, two years after the Great Wizarding War at Hogwarts. We accept original as well as canon characters, and are AU and member-driven. We are looking for members who are excited to plot with everyone! We’re friendly and active, but we are also no-pressure because we understand that real life comes first and is more important than constant posting (though we do appreciate it if you let us know before becoming inactive for a while!).
We hope you’ll enjoy your stay and if you have any questions feel free to let us know in the cbox or in our guest friendly Question/Suggestion board!
Oh, were you expecting to play? To just log in and unwind to your favorite, somewhat generic, fantasy MMORPG?
Sorry player. Things are getting a little bit more... real.
Crimson Dawn Online (CDO) used to be one of the premier fantasy MMORPGs on the internet. Although it may be a bit aged, it had a loyal playerbase and folks logged in regularly every day. Only this day, when you logged in, something... weird happened. You blacked out and when you woke up, you found yourself here. Inside the game.
Is this a bad trapped-in-the-game ripoff? you may have thought, looking around at the familiar and yet not scenery of Meindal, a place you hadn't seen since your last level one character. Yes. It is!
You and hundreds of others are now residents of Tellacene, the world in which CDO is set. And whatever has happened to you in the real world is obviously not enough to give anyone pause because people are still logging in and getting trapped, claiming that there hasn't been some sort of frantic news story of gamers stuck in a coma or anything else alarming. You are all alone--nobody is going to come save you. So it's up to you and the other players to find your own solution to the problems you face now.
And if it weren't bad enough, the character you logged in as seems to have been knocked back to level one. Time to start the grind again... and this time your life depends on it.
